About Us

C.S. Lewis impacted me unlike any other author. His views on criticism and theology have shaped my academic and spiritual life. His fiction works have delved deep into my heart and taken hold quite unlike any other author.

There is such depth and resonance in his work, that I couldn't help but build this website dedicated to this great man and his works. It is my outlet, my cathartic response to his impact on my life. I hope you enjoy browsing through it and gleaning just a bit of joy from it... please take the time to learn a bit about C.S. Lewis and meet the other good folks on this site by visiting the messageboard!

Meet the Staff

I received my bachelor's degree in English literature in 2001... and it was in this process that I truly grew to appreciate C.S. Lewis's impact and wisdom. His essays and stories kept me afloat in a world of self-aggrandizing professors and kowtowing students who loved to hear their own voice. Too often we forget the wonders of story for the rigors of social commentary; Lewis reminded me that in literature, the story is the vehicle, not the theory we might read into it.

I hope this site gives you just a little bit of insight into him and keeps you up to date on the latest happenings in the world that might have anything to do with him.

Currently, I live in southern California with my wife Sarah, my two cats Lucy and Paws, and a lawn that needs to be mowed all too often. Besides C.S. Lewis, I'm a big fan of J.R.R. Tolkien (visit The One Ring, my other website!), take a guilty pleasure in multiplayer Warcraft 3, and have a great time building the company I started (along with two business partners), Enthusiast Inc.

Jamie (Ddraigwen)

Originally from Wales and now living in the USA, I first discovered C.S. Lewis when my mother read the Chronicles of Narnia to me as a young child of three. I read them for myself at 6 years old and have re-read them regularly every since then. I'm excited to be a part of bringing a family friendly, interesting and exciting website to life.

Paul (Parm)

Parm teaches in Japan at an institution called Kyoto International University/Academy, a first-grade to university level school, south of the city of Kyoto. In the high school division, he teaches language arts, and in the university division he teaches a variety of subjects in the humanities department. He is married with three children, and does volunteer work at International Chapel Ministries, a church-planting organization, where he has worked for nearly 20 years. He is an avid reader and movie fan, and enjoys writing poetry and the occasional song.
